If you find yourself flitting in between your work, ‘Facebook’ and ‘Ebay’ windows on your computer screen during an office time lull, a new website aiming to be, as it has been reported, the “Amazon.com” of accessories, could just brighten up your desktop and stop all of those annoying weekend afternoons trawling through buckets of jewellery or racks of scarves. |

This month saw the launch of ‘www.AccessoriesStudio.com’, which claims to be, “an exciting online fashion accessories store dedicated to providing all the latest branded fashion accessories under one roof” – all aimed at women. While not the only site we found dedicated to accessories, it certainly is the best looking and the navigation is seamless.
Accessories are notoriously the easiest way to brighten up an outfit – sounds like a cliché? Take a black pair of trousers and a black shirt and pair it with a large beaded necklace and a broach and you have an evening outfit, open the shirt one more button and put on a silk scarf and you have a lunchtime meeting outfit – simple. |
‘www.AccessoriesStudio.com’ carries a wide range of accessories from handbags, jewelleries and even a selection of hats, scarves, gloves and belts from both established and smaller accessories brands such as French Connection, Ollie and Nic, Nica, Jocasi, Loop, Mogil, Tabitha, Les Nereides, Jackie Brazil, Anna Lou of London, Hultquist, Azuni, The Branch and many more.
Although early days, the site will eventually offer more editorial content with tips and ideas on how to wear the accessories on sale. One dESSYtRENDS reader commented, “I like the headers with the catwalk selections, but the site doesn't have my favourite brands.” It is reported that more brands will be added to the site over the next month or so.
Prices range from between £50-£200 for an “oversized” ladies bag to £20-£30 for a clutch from the current crop of offerings.
